These folks came to a city council meeting to fight to keep their bus route. Then, they piled into their church van to go back home.

The invisible man

Hey all,

I'm photographing this guy for a story, but I can't show his face. It's been a fun challenge, but I'm running out of ideas about how to do this. Anybody have any advice? Any ideas on how to show someone without showing them?

Here's what I've tried so far:

Playing with focus
Silhouette
chopping off his head
Showing how other people think of him

I've still got at least one more shoot with this guy. So far I've photographed him at church (obviously) and had a portrait session at his home. The next shoot will be with him at his roofing job. I think it will run as a full page story.
