In February 2007, Mario Saba left Uruguay in his 1977 Citröen Mehari. Nine months later he ended up in Miami, Fla., before heading to new york and then to California and Alaska. His ultimate plan is to travel more than 125,000 km in 60 countries around the world and end up in South Africa in 2010. The car only has two cylinders, and its max speed is 40 mph.
Why would someone do this?
"I don't want life to live me," Saba said in Spanish. "I want to live life."
