Funny pictures?

Here's some work as of my start in St. Louis three weeks ago. Lately I've been trying to get something from my brain to my pictures, and that is a sense of humor. It's hard, at least for me. Very hard to get that across. A lot of times I'll see something that makes me chuckle, but after shooting it, it doesn't hold that original curiosity. Here are my attempts so far. Feedback welcome.

Lost dog

This woman's dog burned alive when her house caught on fire. She barely escaped with her life.

"They come o'er that ridge"

Brian Markham of Woodson Terrace watches for deer in the Missouri river bottom in along Stlwaterworks Dr after attending to an appliance service call. "They come up over that ridge," he said. Markham, an avid deer hunter, said he hunts mostly in Columbia, Mo. "There's less people," he said, which increases your chances. Last season, Markham bagged three deer. In his free time, he watches and waits.
